Max Azria: Bat Girl

I visited the Max Azria/Herve Leger boutique this weekend with a friend of mine to check out the new fall pieces. I however ended up lured into the Max Azria Fall Collection instead. Why? Because everything was either black, lace, and/or drapey. Of course I was naturally attracted to that. I ended up trying on a few pieces from the collection even though I know I don't really need anything right now. One thing I fell in love with was this simple top with bat-like/bow-like shoulders.

Thanks to my friend, Lisa for taking photos of me wearing it. I liked how it fit and how awesome the shoulder detail made me feel. I think it would be perfect paired with my Rick Owens mermaid skirt or even the black body con dress I was wearing underneath the top when I tried it on. Maybe even with black skinny jeans perhaps or even leggings to make me look like a super hero sausage.  I did, however, walk out of the store without it. I didn't want to make any "spur of the moment" purchases since I usually think things over before I buy clothes.

Now the question is: Should I? Or shouldn't I?
