Happy Sweetest Day!

Ah.... another Hallmark holiday...

I didn't really care much about it until my hubby surprised me with these after he got out of dialysis:

I am blessed to have such a wonderful and sweet life partner - and I would say this with or without these "surprise" roses.

Your DH is so sweet...

hum.. I don't know if romantic died after having kids or it is just faded gradually w/ marriage. hahaha.. My DH is not so romantic, I always have to remind him "giving me something".:P

I must say that my DH is indeed sweet. He doesn't shower me with Louboutins or Chanels but he never forgets our "monthsaries" and all the other holidays as well as usually gets me small surprises when he gets home from work such as Starbucks, etc.

Maybe your DH is romantic but not in the "traditional" or "expected" sense of being romantic - you know what I mean? Sometimes or should I say most of the time - men express themselves differently and sometimes we, women, shouldn't expect "romance". I know when I "expected" something romantic from my DH when we were in our dating phase, I would end up somewhat disappointed since he never was "romantic" but now that we're married and I don't expect anything, he comes up with the sweetest and most romantic things!:)
